We are two weeks into Hispanic Heritage Month and calling back to last year's Los Murciélagos de Louisville post is this week's Abejas de Salt Lake cap, which is another stunning logo created for the Copa de la Diversión campaign which itself is an expansion of the Es Divertido Ser Un Fan ("It's Fun to Be a Fan") fan engagement program that began in 2017.
The Copa has been a success since it began and as more teams continue to join in on the fun, I can envision teams adding on alternate Copa identities. In the case of Salt Lake, I would like to see how this team incorporates angels from Mayan mythology as they are depicted in Mexican folk art as a tie-in with their affiliation with the Los Angeles Angels.
This week's post marks the 11th time I have written about a Copa hat and since I have no intention of slowing down on purchasing caps from the collection, you can expect more posts like this one! For more photos and a quick backstory on how the Abejas came to be, this link will take you to Salt Lake Bees site and I also recommend this one from the Bees team store.

This week's Fresh Fitted Friday selection is not going on the Trading Block however please don't hesitate to reach out if you want any other cap from that list and you are willing to part with any of the hats on my Wish List.
