Baseball Milquetoast's Wish List

Dear reader, I feel that now is the time to dedicate a post with photos and descriptions of the caps in my continually evolving "Wish List". I haven't exactly been bombarded with trade offers lately so maybe having them all featured here might change that.

Hat Club has been killing it with their recent releases of retro MILB logos from the 1980's and 1990's so the first few caps on this list are ones that they'd do well to release (or re-release in the case of the 1993-95 Utica Blue Sox, 1995-2000 Kissimmee Cobras and the 1994 Appleton Foxes).

Tier 1, as the name would imply, includes caps that are at the top of my list and I'd be willing to part with any cap in my Trading Block for one of these beauties:

1982-83 Denver Bears (I have a retro of this but would LOVE to have a vintage as well!)

1989-92 Peninsula Pilots

1988-90 Jackson Mets
1983 Portland Beavers (I've never even seen a vintage version of this cap which is why I had to include a image of a dang baseball card for it!)

Tier 2 includes caps I always thought were cool but somehow haven't a hold of yet:

1993-95 Utica Blue Sox (Red Sox affiliate years)

1985-1993 Huntsville Stars

1994 Appleton Foxes

1976-81 Denver Bears (The urgency to get one of these has gone down but I'm still into it!)

Tier 3: The caps at this level are ones I've already got in my collection but I'm always willing to get more of because they feature logos that I consider to be timeless.

1988-90 Utica Blue Sox (White Sox affiliate years)
1995-2000 Kissimmee Cobras I have procured this cap!

Oneonta Yankees

1987-94 Charleston Wheelers I have procured this cap!

There have been a few MLB throwbacks of Negro League teams that have caught my eye over the past few years. The first one that comes to mind is this 1937 Cincinnati Tigers cap with a red underbrim that the Cincinnati Reds wore on July 11, 2011:

Another Negro League throwback that I am obsessed with is the Brooklyn Royal Giants uniform the San Francisco Giants wore on June 22, 2008:

I've been buying caps from Ebbets Field Flannels since 2011 and the quality has always impressed me. My only complaint is that they've released so much heat over the years that I haven't been able to purchase everything that I've wanted. They're good about re-releasing hats that sell well so I'm hopeful that happens with the following caps.

1931 Homestead Grays (lesser known version than the classic "G" cap)

1937 Cincinnati Tigers

1945 Utica Blue Sox

1945 Grand Rapids Black Sox

1953 Jacksonville Braves I have procured this cap! To read all about it, click here!

1955 Nashville Vols

1973 Charleston Charlies

1983 Charleston Charlies

1945 Oakland Oaks

1951 Ottawa Giants I have procured this cap!

1945 Osaka Giants

1946 Indianapolis Indians

And lastly, because I'm greedy here are a few of the caps I already own that I'd likely not turn down if given the right trade opportunity: Albany-Colonie Yankees, Casper Ghosts, Charleston RainbowsGreenville Braves, Elmira Pioneers, Everett Giants, Jacksonville Expos, New Haven Ravens, Shreveport Captains, and any team's hat from 2007 MLB All-Star Game.
