Missives of a Baseball Milquetoast

The last Fresh Fitted Friday post published on Friday the 13th was in October 2023 although that hat actually fell more into the Orange October territory than the spooky zone. That said, I'm happy to offer an eerie entry to the chronicles with this week's selection which is a Clink Room design called "Fantom" that is perfect for a Friday the 13th post as baseball season ramps up. If the timing had worked out differently we could have seen  I am happy this one's got black innards as it'll keep things looking fresher than we would expect in the caps of yore. The white embroidered Clink Kong on a black crown combined with a kelly green undervisor makes this cap a 10/10 in my view. I can hardly believe it has been a full two weeks since Opening Day and yet, I can tell my honeymoon period might be winding down. I seem to be taking for granted that baseball games are being played every day because I have already forgotten to set my fantasy rosters a few times so far. To be fair this past week was an extra busy one for me but thankfully I carved out some time to make it to my first game of the year at some point this weekend for at least one of the three games between my San Francisco Giants and the New York Yankees. As long as the weather in the Bronx cooperates, the only thing I need to consider is what hat to wear. In previous times when the Giants came to town, I wore hats featuring some of the different variations of the current San Francisco logo as well as retro New York Giants caps which have elicited a few "Mets Suck!" taunts from Yankees fans who clearly do not know their baseball history.
