I recently dug through the blog’s archives to see if I had ever published a #FreshFittedFriday post on October 31st and it turns out the most Hallloweenish and gruesome Murder Birds cap featured today has the distinction of being the first member of that club!

| This "X-ray" reworking of the original "Murder Birds" design is the first of that variant style that I picked up from The Clink Room. To my knowledge the design used on those two caps is the only one Clinker Dustin has released via the site so I count myself as lucky to have at least one of them! |

According to the cap’s product page on The Clink Room site, Dustin was inspired by a news story he came across where a crow flew away with a knife from a crime scene! I’m hoping the Blue Jays can use the metaphorical knife here to slash the Dodgers hopes of becoming the first team to repeat as World Series champions since the Yankees accomplished the feat in 2000.
I might have mentioned this (maybe more than once) before but Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday so posting on this day is a special treat in and of itself. And that a World Series game is being played tonight where the Dodgers could be eliminated is an added bonus!
The only downside is my plans for tonight will be so much fun that I would love to just come home and watch the game without knowing the final score although if someone accidently lets it slip the Blue Jays clinched I wouldn’t be terribly upset. Of course, the Dodgers staying alive with a Game 6 win wouldn’t be the worst thing either because I would then have a chance to watch the Blue Jays secure a World Series win the following night!
I certainly goofed by not posting on October 17 but I think the three consecutive posts of Clink Room caps showcasing winged creatures bodes well for an impending Blue Jays win which would dovetail nicely with the prophecy set forth in my Ottawa Giants post at the beginning of the month.
My intent with that one was to impart a cheeky Orange October sentiment in the sense that “if my team has no chance at glory, nor should my rivals” so hopefully that plays out in Game 6 tonight. This is my last post before the offseason so hopefully the vibes I'm putting out there for a Blue Jays win are enough for them to bring a championship back to the fans in Toronto!
